Social Security Administration - Phone call to SSA
Oct 9, 2018 Tried all day to talk to an agent. Got thru once, but the call ended with just silence on the phone.
That happened most of the day when I dialed 1-80*-772-****. The computer would answer and then silence. When I did get thru and wait for an agent, I waited for almost an hour the first time, and the same for the second time. Waiting was expected, but for them just to end the call with silence was not expected.
There's nothing you can do but hang up and keep trying until they go home. They should have a better way to conduct business than being so rude as to just cut you off and hang up.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
